iOS Mobile Security Key App Now Available on iTunes

Earlier today we noted that it appeared the iOS version of the mobile security key app for Star Wars: The Old Republic was nearly ready to be released, and sure enough, it has arrived!

Now available on the US iTunes store and weighing in at 3.9MB, the app appears to be very specific in it’s task. It’s possible it will be updated in the future with additional features, but for now, it adds much needed security to your account!

Once you’ve downloaded the app to your iOS device, you can head over to the security key setup page here and follow the step-by-step instructions.

As an added bonus, if you use a security key with your account, you get access to a special in-game vendor to purchase items!

For users that are wondering, no Android or BlackBerry version yet, but we discovered that they’re coming by examine the page files earlier.

    Found that the instructions to register a security were somewhat confusing and searching for the app was not as easy as I would have liked. Found that searching swtor (as opposed to star wars) was the best way to find it.
