Want To See Your TOR-Self In Web Comic Form? The Jedi Gambit Can Make It Happen!

The Jedi Gambit is easily the best TOR-inspired comic on the web. If you follow Ask A Jedi, you’ve no doubt seen us feature each and every issue. Also, the artist, Greg “Rackham” Moran is a super awesome guy, and among other things responsible for this year’s AAJ Holiday Card illustration!

Now he’s willing to put those talents to work for you, not unlike LeBron James mercifully did for the city of Miami. How would you like to win a custom drawing of your Star Wars: The Old Republic character? Or even better, win a drawing of yourself as one of the classes in the game? You could have your choice if you end up the winner!

All you need to do to enter is Tweet a little something, but the contest only goes until January 5th – there’s no time to waste! Head on over to The Jedi Gambit for all of the details on how to enter to win this awesome prize… talk about a cool way to ring in the new year!

The Jedi Gambit: Double Issue!

Eeek! It seems with all of the Early Access hoopla last week, rolling right into the official launch of Star Wars: The Old Republic this week, I’ve let slip by the newest installments of my favorite TOR-inspired webcomic: The Jedi Gambit!

In my momentary lapse of reason, not one but two new pages of The Jedi Gambit have been posted. Main character Jedi Knight Kylun Dross is back in action and his lightsaber is getting a workout. But as usual, something, something, Dark side gets in the way!

Those of you loyal AAJ followers who have been here for a while know that I’m a big fan of Greg “Rackham” Moran’s series. It is by far the best episodic TOR-inspired webcomic out there, has great characters and tells a great story. Issue #1 consists of 12 pages, and you can view each of them in chronological order right here. In addition, you can also check out a cast of characters who make apperances throughout the story. If you don’t do anything else I ask of you today, do this – check out The Jedi Gambit!

The Jedi Gambit: Bantha Poodoo

The latest edition of my absolute favorite Star Wars: The Old Republic web comic is out!

Greg “Rackham” Moran is a talented artist and author who was inspired by The Old Republic to create The Jedi Gambit, and this is really the only “episodic” web comic for TOR that I am aware of. I think you’ll find the story to be engaging, the characters well developed, and the art style pleasing!

If you haven’t been following this series, you owe it to yourself to check it out. Issue #1 consists of 12 pages, and you can view each of them in chronological order right here. In addition, you can also check out a cast of characters who make apperances throughout the story.

The Jedi Gambit: Issue One Finale

The latest edition of the fantastic Star Wars: The Old Republic web comic The Jedi Gambit is out today, and it brings to a close Issue #1 – and what a close it is!  In the final page, artist Greg “Rackham” Moran leaves us with real cliffhanger, with Jedi main character Kylun Dross incapacitated… at the hands of his sister!

Issue #1 - Page 12 - The Finale!

Rackham had this to say about the upcoming continuation of the series:

If you think this is the end of The Jedi Gambit: fear not, for I’m just getting started. Pretty soon, I’ll be starting Issue Two of the Jedi Gambit and continuing the adventures of Kylun Dross.

If you haven’t been following this series, you owe it to yourself to go back and check it out. Issue #1 consists of 12 pages, and you can view each of them in chronological order right here. In addition, you can also check out a cast of characters who make apperances throughout the story.

I personally can’t wait until Issue #2 begins – of all the SW:TOR web comics there are, this is my favorite!
