Help A Jedi Out! Web Graphic Designer Wanted

We launched Ask A Jedi way back in June of 2010 along side E3, and we’ve been growing by leaps and bounds ever since. We truly want to become an Outpost for Citizens of The Old Republic, and that’s where you come in!

We’ve got a robust content strategy and aggressive publishing calendar, and as we barrel toward the launch of the game we’ll need some help to meet our goals! If you’d like to contribute your time and talents to be a part of, and help grow one of the leading fan sites for Star Wars: The Old Republic, read on!

All interested parties should have:

  • Fanatical tendencies for all things Star Wars: The Old Republic
  • Passion for and experience with playing MMORPGs
  • Being Force-sensitive is a major plus!

At this time, we’re looking for a Web Graphic Designer. What does a Web Graphic Designer do, you ask? We think its this:

As a Web Graphic Designer at Ask A Jedi, you’ll help us on small design projects to contribute to our content, as well as ideas to push the whole AAJ brand forward. You might create original graphics or icons for example, as well as help define and build a style guide.

You need to have experience as a graphic designer who has knowledge about search engine services on the web specifically, understanding interaction design and user interface best practices. You must wield fonts like they’re special abilities with no cool-down on your action bar. You need an absolutely critical eye for detail.

What we’re looking for:

  • Expert-level graphic design experience on the web
  • Ability to adapt to different styles
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus. You won’t  be building stuff, but you should have at least an idea of how your design might be implemented!
If you’re interested in helping us out and becoming a part of something fun, drop us a line in the form below! And don’t forget to provide some links to examples that show off your experience and capabilities, describing your responsibilities with each project!

  1. The application form seems to be broken. It gives me an error that I have not entered a last name, when I have filled out that field. Hopefully you guys can fix that, but for now I will look around the site for an alternate means of submitting my information :)
