Analyst Postulates Star Wars: The Old Republic Is Coming In November
An recent article in financial publication Barron’s has analyst speculation that Star Wars: The Old Republic will be released this coming November.

We are officially moving the expected Star Wars launch from September to November. PopCap is not the key to getting ERTS right. We like this acquisition, but this is not going to make or break your ERTS trade this year. The success of Star Wars and Battlefield, on the other hand, will. All eyes now shift to them.
Now, it’s important to point out that this is not a statement from EA or BioWare, or “inside info” obtained by Barron’s. It’s complete and total speculation on the part of the analyst. Analysts like to predict a lot of things, because it’s their job. But even industry analyst Michael Pachter points out he’s “occasionally right.”
We the fans know that BioWare has said the game will release in the second half of 2011, and that gives anyone who wants to just about a 20% chance of guessing the launch month correctly. Either way, we’re in the final countdown. Who needs these analysts anyway?

Patcher have a head on his shoulder it’s sure is speculation but he’s not pulling this out of is @$$.
I’m betting on September, I think that the time between the announcement and the actual release won’t be long. I also predict an announcement of some kind like that this week. (They’re hyping Comic Con as being international and significant.)
I would love to be wrong but if I had to bet I wouldn’t bet on any thing special at Comic Con, probably the last question mark in the holonet section of the game website will be revealed.
They will soon launch a new beta build for tester to test and it will take 5 weeks to test minimum and an probably an other months to fix bug, 2 weeks to ship the box, I would like an October release but November seams right.
I sure hope it is before Nov.
One reason is selfishness – what am I going to do till then? My old guild mates and Blizztard is spamming me with scrolls of resurrections. I hate to be out of crafting any longer than I have too.
The other reason – is concern for the game itself.a lot of great effort has been made in the conference cycles this year to show a playable game. This will be wasted as more playable options roll onto calendar.

Have you heatd anything about Origin allowing you to download the game 1 or 2 days before release, but keeping it locked, kinda like steam, you can download so at release you are ready to play. Otherwise it will be like WOW where 400.000 people wonna download at the same time.
I think what i wonna know is, should I go for digital download or box, in order to play as soon as they release?
I would assume EA will allow you to preload.
BUT, I still say go for a collectors edition!
