Patch Notes: 1.0.2d – Flashpoint Fixes And Modding Exploit

This morning, BioWare performed a short scheduled maintenance period to apply a small client patch, 1.0.2d. This patch was originally scheduled for last Tuesday, but was postponed for undisclosed reasons. Appears to just be some small but important bug fixes. The notes follow below.

1.0.2d Patch Notes 1/12/2012

Items

  • Fixed an exploit that allowed the removal of Armoring item modifications that were not intended to be available for removal on Artifact quality items.

  • Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented players from resetting their active Flashpoint.

Operations

Eternity Vault
  • Using “Reset All Active Operations” no longer causes Soa and the Ancient Pylons to respawn even if the player is currently locked out of these encounters.

Patch Notes: 1.1 (Public Test Server) – New Flashpoint, Kira Carsen And Anti-Aliasing

BioWare has just pushed a new build of Star Wars: The Old Republic to the Public Test Server for players to get their hands on. They’ve been doing quick and furious patches all this week, but this one is a bit more meaty!

Some of the highlights are a new Flashpoint, the Kira Carsen bug fix, and the re-addition of the anti-aliasing preference!

The patch notes can be found below.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Patch 1.1

General

  • Anti-aliasing is now available and can be enabled in the preferences menu.

Classes and Combat

General

  • Healing caused by crowd control abilities no longer generates threat.
  • Tooltips for abilities modified by skill points now display correct damage values.

Guard

  • This ability now transfers to a new friendly target without requiring deactivation on the previous target.
  • Activating this ability while targeting a guarded or invalid target will still toggle the Guard ability off.
  • A distinct visual effect is now present on characters using Guard on another character, and another effect is now present on the guarded character if they leave Guard’s range.

Taunt

  • A new visual effect has been added to the user and the target of the Taunt ability for the duration of its effect.

Patch Notes: 1.0.2b – 33MB, Chat Channels, Dance Emotes

As promised yesterday, BioWare has rolled out another small patch this morning to address a few critical issues that cropped up. Patch 1.0.2b weighs in at about ~33MB and the notes are as follows:

General

  • Fixed an issue that could cause in-game chat channels to stop functioning for some players.

Classes and Combat

Bug Fixes

  • Social emotes (like /getdown) can no longer interfere with combat.

Patch Notes: 1.0.2 – 25MB – January 4, 2012

BioWare made players everywhere, especially no doubt our European friends, happy today when they concluded the scheduled maintenance window a full 5 hours early! The servers came up just before 6:00AM Eastern Standard Time.

With the maintenance, BioWare introduced a ~25MB patch, 1.0.2, the notes for which you can find below. Enjoy!

General

  • Guilds that are currently leaderless will have an Officer chosen and promoted to Guild Leader.

Classes and Combat

Sith Inquisitor

General

  • The Darth title is now properly granted to Sith Inquisitors.

Bug Fixes

  • Corrected an issue that could prevent players from taking cover when targeting large NPCs.
  • Fixed a bug that caused some abilities with activation times to be interrupted when used from cover.

Patch Notes: 1.0.2 (Public Test Server) – Guild Fixes And Other Bugs

Yesterday, BioWare deployed a new patch to the Public Test Server, which you can access by choosing a different “environment” from within your Star Wars: The Old Republic launcher. Be warned that if you decide to participate in the Public Test Server, you will need to download an entire additional copy of the client, so be sure you have the space available!

Patch Notes: 1.0.1a – Loading Screen, Server Select

Today BioWare issued a small patch to address a couple of issues, albeit important ones. The notes for the ~15MB download are as follows:

  • Adjusted the refresh rate for the game client server selection screen.
  • Made changes to help alleviate issues for players who were getting stuck on the loading screen.
