Pre-Launch Guild Program Ends December 2nd

BioWare today put future players of Star Wars: The Old Republic on notice that the Pre-Launch Guild Program will officially come to an end, this Friday, December 2nd, at 11:59PM CST (that’s 1 minute before midnight, Austin time!)

We’re one step closer to the official launch of Star Wars™: The Old Republic™. The Pre-Launch Guild Program* will end on 12/2/11 at 11:59 p.m. CST so that guilds can be assigned to servers for Early Game Access.†

This is your last chance to:
• Make any changes to your guild
• Ensure your guild meets requirements for deployment into the game††
• Designate your guild’s Allies and Adversaries
• Review pending guild application requests

Prior to Early Game Access, you will be notified by email to check the website for your guild’s deployment status. For more information, please read the Guilds FAQ or contact Customer Service at www.swtor.com/support.

Since there’s still a few days left, now would be a perfect time to make your guild an ally or adversary of Ask A Jedi. You can find our Republic Guild, Ask A Jedi right here. But if you prefer the Dark side, our sister guild in the Empire, Ask A Sith is right here!

  1. Lady Republic says:

Wish I could ally, but our group is on the wrong side of the fence on a couple counts (East Coast, RP-PvE). So I’ll just have to make do with alting it up over there from time to time.

Can’t believe early access is only two and a half weeks away. Where did the time go?

Best of luck to all the guilds forming up and getting ready for early access! It should be a lot of fun.

  2. I have some friends who are on the fence about preordering versus just waiting to buy the game after launch because early access is not that important to them (weird, right?). Anyway, how difficult will it be for them to get on my guild’s server if they don’t pre-order and participate in the pre-launch guild program?

  3. Lady Republic says:

My understanding is that they should be able to just roll up toons separately from the guild on that server, and then be invited. The main difference is that they will not have the option of joining when their toon first enters the world, as those who pre-ordered and are currently in your forums-based guild. It shouldn’t be a problem though.
