Star Wars: The Old Republic Explorer’s Guide Available For Pre-Order

Thanks once again to the sleuth-like abilities of the gang over at TORWars to unearth this stuff, we now know that Prima – famous for their library of game guides – will be releasing a hard-cover title on December 20th called the Star Wars: The Old Republic Explorer’s Guide – the Offical Game Guide!

Right now Amazon has a picture available, and you can pre-order it there for just $19.49 as of this writing.

As if the Collector’s Edition wasn’t already going to take up enough room on my shelves, now I need to make room for this!

  1. OneCharacter says:

They should have scrapped that damn Malgus figure and included this Explorer’s Guide and the Making of ToR book instead for the Collector’s Edition. I might have considered buying it then.

    • I’d like the art book, but i’d MUCH rather have a Gentle Giant statue than a strategy guide that will be outdated about two minutes after release. Sites like this and others will be far better than any book for an MMO.

  2. Meh, i’m my own guide to the game! :)

And hopefully, I’ll have many more guides to awesome locations and places to visit after launch. That’s when the Nerfherder’s Guide to the Galaxy will really come into its own…

  3. Propper explorers dont take a guide book, they take a compass. I dont understand why these things sell, you pay more money to finish the game quicker and with less fun. I mean, cmon – even if you get completly and thoroughly stuck, thats what the internet in general is for. And in an mmo, where help is just a backslash away… :P
