It’s no secret Game Testing for Star Wars: The Old Republic has been going on for some time now. Luckily for fans, it’s also no secret that BioWare has been ramping up the number of players they’re inviting to these tests. As a matter of fact, earlier this week at the Fan Site Summit, Senior Community Manager Stephen Reid mentioned that the number of players invited to Beta Weekend #3 is staggering. In addition, European players are getting into the mix more than ever, with a new set of General Game Testing going out just yesterday.
With all of that in mind, there’s a good chance that many of you reading this have been on the receiving end of one of these invites! Ask A Jedi and other fan sites have audiences that are made up of pretty core fans of the game, so it might mean that there’s a higher percentage here than in the general gamer population, but it will be interesting to see.
So today’s question is, have you ever been invited to any phase of Game Testing so far? Be it a weekend, or be it longer… let us know!
But remember, you can’t talk about specifics and any NDA-breaking stuff. All you can say if you so choose is “there is a beta, and I am in it!”

I was in the first two beta weekends but didn’t make it into the third.
I am in like Flin.
Wish it was general testing but oh well. Told my wife not to make any plans for this weekend (i will make it up to her next weekend)and about to go stock up food and drinks. I may not be worth a crap at work on Monday but should be fun.
Thankfully no. I have to go out of town this weekend and that would have really upset me if I finally got in.
I swear Lethality’s sole purpose in posting is to remind me I am one of the halve-nots in this gaming community. Why not just swing by the house and punch me in the nards to make my morning complete you flarg flinging dust giggler.
Nowp! Maybe next time, maybe not. One way or another, the release is in 6 weeks, I’ve waited for years… I think I can wait a little more.

Yep, I’m in this weekend. Haven’t decided yet if that’s a good thing, or pure torture.

Yes. And my girlfriend’s nephew’s birthday party is tonight, followed by a party for one of her friends. My attendance at both is mandatory. FML.

Remember you can get another girlfriend. This beta weekend is just for 2 days.
First two beta weekends, although the second one was MUCH better than the first in regards to bugs and problems. They fixed a ton in that patch between the two.
Happy to say both hubby and I made it in, along with some friends. For those that didn’t, well – just a little over a month to go, it’ll be here before we know it.
Got a mail for the general game testing about an hour ago, so yes I’ve been invited once ;)
Finally got my first Beta invite, my boyfriend got in as well. So going to be an interesting weekend. :D
I know at least 4 people who have been in testing who do not come to this sight because they are not Hardcore TOR fans.
Yup in this weekend, as they said at the investor meeting there are at least 2 more beta weekends, with hundreds of thousands of people invited. It was only a matter of time I figured until then.
every time they say they send new keys to europe i hope i get one but until now i’m not lucky enough for the random generator used by

well i got an e-mail for an upcoming Test Weekend when this will be i dont know but i got one :D
Got in for this weekend, though I’m with my gf and still (after 15 months together) a closet gamer. So I’ll be playing at night after she passes out, then making an excuse to leave early Sunday. Before you judge, I’ll make it up to her.

I Just got invited yesterday XD
Not been selected, but not worried as only a few weeks to go. The game just keeps looking better, but tbh would only spend time on beta just trying to decide which character class to play.
However in case i do get an email I will practice my evil laugh for my first role as sith inq.
I’m in for this weekend.
After the update today, I’d say everyone here would be voting “Yes” if this poll was posted again. :)
I thought I wouldn’t get in for a beta, but I did this weekend. To bad I need to spend some of it doing homework.
When I voted I said no but that has all changed now. :)

This will be the Beta Weekend #3 for me. I honestly don’t know if I will participate this time. I want to move on to the real thing.
