SWTOR FTW Episode 25 – The Pre-Order Show!

The gang over at FTW Broadcasting have apparently been busy today… they’ve already released a brand-new episode of SWTOR FTW dedicated to the brand new pre-order program for Star Wars: The Old Republic! Awall, as always, does a great job running down all of the details, editions, perks and prices of the various available versions of TOR.

If you haven’t caught onto this series yet, it’s well worth a watch… a great way to kick back and listen to the latest TOR news and community content from around the web!

Check it out and let us know what you think!

  1. ok … can some one riddle me this? So I buy the physical CE, can I still go to Origin and get the game if for beta weekends? Not like Amazon is going to ship it earlier than the go live.

  2. Vinícius says:

Well… I’m happy for you, guys, but we, in the south hemisphere and some other countries in Europe… Latin America etc. have not much to celebrate.

We waited as much as any other fans world wide, we were as anxious as anyone else… and all to discover that we don’t deserve much more than a paragraph to tell us tat we’re not part of the plans and, maybe after release… who knows…

Very disappointed… after all… betrayed. Thank you, BW/EA.

  3. Well you might be in luck. My team of henchmen ahh i mean colleagues have figured out a way for those in the disenfranchised hemisphere to legally play with no TOS even bumped up against.
Many Bothan brain cells were killed to bring me this concept:
So my idea relies on a few moving parts, not the least of the need of a person to rely on within the current release areas.
A friend of yours buys the game and installs on a very, very strong PC (not their primary playing rig) and that person creates a log-in and account. Then the person in the DMZ (de-merriment zone) uses one of many RDC programs to remote take over the machine and play the game. now .. it would be slower yes, it would be a hassle yes, and the nuanced controls might be a bit off. BUT you would be playing :)

    • You are very clever. That is a great idea… and who knows, they may expand after the game reaches a certain level of success to cover what they currently consider less desirable markets. I hope that everyone is able to play SWTOR because I want to stomp them all in PvP!!!! :)

  4. DozingDawg says:

This guy should be part of Ask A Jedi. WOW great work!!!
