SDCC 2011 Update: The Old Republic Panel Revealed

San Diego Comic-Con is still about two weeks away, but the just-released schedule for the show indicates what’s in store for the TOR faithful:

Star Wars: The Old Republic : Join Us, It Is Your Destiny— BioWare and LucasArts are creating the most immersive MMO experience you’ve ever played with Star Wars: The Old Republic. Hear from BioWare developers as they discuss development of a story-driven MMO, debut new gameplay footage, and perhaps spring a few surprises along the way. Exclusive reveals, giveaways, guests, and Q&A!

The panel will be held in room 6BCF on Thursday, July 21 from 3:30-4:30pm.

So it sounds like we’ll definitely be seeing some new footage… and a few surprises!

Needless to say, this is where you want to be if you have a badge for Comic-Con, but if you’re in the area without a badge, you can still get your hands-on TOR at the Hilton nearby the convention center.

Thanks to the ever-present GamewizX and his thread for the tip off!

  1. I tried everything i could think of to get myself shipped to San Diego by my work. With that failing, now i am going to try some surrogates. Maybe they can get in and play to give me some insight.

  2. I live in Edmonton, the original home of BW. However, I am not holding my breath on a SWTOR dog and pony show coming to Edmonton. BUT, I do like that these days with all the coverage of such events, the tweeting, videos and posting, that those of us unable to get to such events can generally get as good a view as anyone else.
